James’ Blue House Free Schools
James’ Blue House Free Schools is a mobile free school teaching community and self empowerment classes. We focus on great learning experiences which help people to help themselves. Instead of making money our priority is your wellbeing and the wellbeing of the planet. We come into your local community in the double decker bus “Atlantis” the base and learning space for JBHFS and the Free Blue Library.
Classes can be conducted in “Atlantis”, in a park or in a community hall or space. If you can organise the people we can organise the learning. Contact us to discuss how we can benefit your community.
Adult Digital Literacy
20% of Australian adults are not online with even an email address and functional digital illiteracy rates are as high as 48% This digital literacy class is for adults who want to get surfing the internet and get online.
This classes cover topics including:
- Tablets and smartphones
- Setting up and using email
- Basic Digital security. Simple and effective passwords
- Search basics
- Introduction to social media
- Apps basics
- Using your smartphone smartly
- Digital content discernment and varification
- Digital research skills
- Social media empowerment
- Content production

Advanced Reading Class
Would you like to develop your photographic memory?
In an age of information democratisation and freedom offered by the internet, this class is for people who struggle with reading as fast as they would like to be able.
In a typical 2 hour class you will :
- discover why the traditional way of teaching reading is detrimental to reading quickly.
- learn about advanced reading techniques like scanning and mentally photographing entire pages.
- see techniques to help you read entire books in minutes
- find out about information recall
I learnt and perfected these techniques over 25 years of studing accelarated learning and now it is time to share how to read SUPER FAST.
LIFESTYLES OF HEALTH AND SUSTAINABILITY
LOHAS and LOVOS
In this age of materialism and mass consumption which is to the detriment of our own health and the health of the planet, there is something you can do.
Come along and find out what is a Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) and how to life a Lifestyle of Voluntary Simplicity (LOVOS).
Re-localising and Community Capability Building
Thes classes introduce models for local economic and community empowerment.
Topics covered include:
- food programs and bulk buying co-operatives
- community colleges and networks
- community gardens and commons
- community and local currencies and exchange systems
- hosting community events
Quantum Pause Breathing Meditation and the 5 Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation.
These classes combine elements of what are known as the 5 Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation from the book available in PDF here The Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth by Peter Kelder. These exercises can be adapted for most levels of fitness to increase your vitality and when practiced daily and combined with a healthy diet of mainly raw fruit and vegetables should help you lose weight. The exercises are combined with Quantum Pause Breathing, a technique designed to help meditation and also build up lung capacity and increase lung health.
Body rejuvenation classes go one hour with 15 minutes of breathing meditation followed by 30 minutes of yoga like exercise and a 10 minute warm down.
Some yoga mats are available but feel free to bring your own yoga mat or towel and water. I suggest drinking at least 500 ml of water before beginning exercise. Are you interested in a class in your community? Contact James Blue House Free Schools and let the results speak for themselves.

Living for wellness classes explore the elements of a healthy lifestyle.
You will discover what it means to be a “permaculture human”
You will discover how a common addictive “poison” that is added to many foods and how to avoid it. This “poison”is usedto make poor quality food tasty and excess consumption makes people gain weight.
Living for wellness is a two hour program that includes
- which foods to eat and which foods to avoid
- a simple technique that can improve your health and save you money
- 5 simple exercises that will bring back your energy and make you feel young and strong again (if practiced daily)
- a simple breathing technique that will bring mental clarity and help you operate at peak performance.

Local Free Food Gardening
LEARN TO GROW YOUR OWN FOOD
This class will show you how to grow the most from the limited space available in a suburban garden in this class you will learn how simple it is to install grow and maintain your own free and healthy food.
